Meet Oluwaseun Odumosu-Eboigbe, (Seun, for short), the owner of Lipstick by Seun, a womenswear brand. She holds a degree in Economics from the prestigious Covenant University in Ota, Nigeria. She also holds several certificates from the London College of Fashion in United Kingdom. Seun is a visionary womenswear fashion designer whose journey reflects a seamless fusion of culture, craftsmanship, and innovation. With roots deeply embedded in her Nigerian heritage, Seun has evolved into a trailblazer in the fashion industry, showcasing a distinctive narrative through her creations with the use of African fabrics such as adire, ankara, asooke, etc,which are transformed into beautiful contemporary apparels, trimmings and accessories.
Lipstick by Seun has worked with brands like Chika Ike, Kefee, and appeared on runways of fashion such as Fashions Finest. With clientele spanning the globe, Lipstick by Seun hopes to keep challenging the stereotypes by promoting African fabrics in a contemporary light and reshaping perceptions of African fashion on the global stage.
The name Lipstick came about to depict an item of beauty which is easily accessible and available and almost every woman has and uses. it is the same way we want our pieces to be perceived. We want our pieces to be easily accessible and available and for women all around the world to have at least a piece of our clothing in their wardrobe.
